Organic Eggs with shells (Eggs are the highest-quality protein naturally available.. the shells provide added calcium.   Protein from eggs help build muscle strength.)

Fresh Organically Grown Parsley (Loaded with vitamin K, also a great source of vitamin C, A, folate and iron.  Parsley has been shown to aid in the prevention of cancerous tumors.  It has potent anti-oxidant capabilities as well as having cardio-protective nutrients.  Shown to protect against rheumatoid arthritis, it is an ingredient that all our pets should be consuming.)

Organic Ground Flax Seeds (Benefits of flaxseeds are for both human and dogs.  Flaxseed is well known for its phytoestrogens.  Phytoestrogens are natural cancer-protective compounds.   It is high in alpha linolenic acid, which has also been found to be a cancer fighting agent.  Flax is high in both soluble and insoluble fiber.  Flax promotes regular bowel movements because it is high in insoluable fiber.  Also high in Omega 3 fatty acids, which has the abilities to reduce inflammation with aids in relief of arthritis pain.  Flax is also known for its ability to help fight heart disease and the support immune system.)

Sesame Seeds (A high source of mono and polyunsaturated fats, sesame seeds help in maintaining a healthy cardiovascular system.  The magnesium present in the seeds help prevents asthma by lowering airway spasm and controlling high blood pressure.  These little seeds have a high copper content which is essential in a number of anti-inflammatory and antioxidant enzyme systems and therefore helps relieve the pain and swelling associated with arthritis.  High levels of calcium and magnesium presented in these seeds help build bones, enhance bone density and also regulate the body metabolism.  Zinc also present help in the healing of wounds and strengthening of the bodies  immune system.  The dietary fiber, along with the phytosterols present in these seeds lowers the LDL levels in the blood and helps maintain blood glucose levels.)

Peanut Butter and Pumpkin Bites

1/2 Pound $8.00

Delicious and nutritious peanut butter and pumpkin treat

Five simple, natural  and basic ingredients:

100% Pure Pumpkin  (In it's pure form, with no sugar or spices is an excellent source of Vitamin A, potassium and fiber and is naturally gluten free.  The nutrients found in pumpkin help to keep a dog's immune system strong, hereby strengthening resistance to cancer and other diseases.  Pumpkin puree can help remedy both constipation and diarrhea, making it a useful tool for dogs with digestive issues.  The amounts of L-tryptophan content in the pumpkin flesh, although the majority is found in the seed is large enough that it has been suggested that this could offset depression and keep it in check while the essential fatty acids and amino acids realign and open the energy flow that was cut off causing the depression in the first place.)

Organic Eggs with shells (Eggs are the highest-quality protein naturally available.. the shells provide added calcium.   Protein from eggs help build muscle strength.)

100% Whole Grain Stone Ground Whole Wheat Flour (Whole wheat is a good source of calcium, iron, fiber, and other mineral necessary for the body.  It is less refined and is more of a natural product than white flour is.   Whole wheat flour may have nutritional values which could reduce the risk of diabetes, heart disease and the antioxidants may reduce the risk of some cancers.  The wheat kernel breaks down to be made from three items:  endosperm, bran and germ.  The flour’s weight comes from the endosperm portion of the kernel that contains the protein and carbohydrates.  The bran contains fiber and minerals which also include Vitamin B and E.  The germ contains what is known as ‘healthy’ polyunsaturated fat.  Whole Wheat Flour is a more natural and more nutritious ingredient used in the making of some of the dog treats than white flour would be by approximately 80%.  The bran makes the treats heavier, denser because it diminishes the abilities for gluten to develop and will get in the way of allowing the treat to rise during the baking process.

Organic All Natural Peanut Butter (Peanut Butter is naturally high in folate; a form of vitamin B. Folic acid lowers the risk of heart disease. It is also a vegetarian source of protein. Peanut butter is made of Vitamin H and Vitamin E. The first vitamin increases the sheen of your dog's coat, improves the quality of dog skin and the strength of the nails. The second helps your dog's immune system, which protects your dogs from disease.  Organic, salt and sugar free peanut butter will give your pet the maximum taste and nutritional benefit possible, while at the same time, preventing toxins from pesticides and fat from entering your dog's body.)

Fresh Cinnamon (Anti-inflammatory qualities—help with painful joints and arthritis; helps regulate blood sugar—good for diabetics; can help improve digestion and relieve upset tummies; may help lower triglyceride and cholesterol levels; is a natural food preservative—your treats last longer.

Seven simple, natural  and basic ingredients:

Flaxseed Oil (Aids in Inflammatory Disease like inflammatory bowel disease or arthritis and can prevent flare up of systems if taken on a predictable schedule; it can help with heart disease, the treatment of and prevention of cancer in dogs.  Omega-3 fatty acids work to slow down cancer growth or prevents it in the first place. Making flaxseed oil a regular part of your diet can also prevent or control allergies.  Dogs that suffer from allergies often have poor immune systems to begin with.  The introduction of Omega-3 fatty acids can improve their immune system and make allergies less of a problem.  Another benefit of flaxseed oil for your dog is its affect on his coat. If your dog suffers from a dry or very dull coat, fatty acids help to improve the texture of his coat, making for fuller, shinier hair. While superficial, a dull coat is often a sign of other health problems like a weakened immune system. Since flaxseed oil makes the coat shiny, it is apparent that this also helps the health of your pet.

So, equal to meat, milk and egg protein.  Soluble fiber (the fiber that helps keep cholesterol levels low); Levels of iron, manganese, zinc, and B vitamins (pantothenic acid, B5, and folate, B9).  Oats are low in:  Gluten (some is present, but not nearly as much as in wheat); Genetically Modified Organisms (so far, oats are not grown using GMO).  Oats are considered a nervine, an herbal compound that acts as a general nerve tonic, calming the nerves when necessary, stimulating their activity when needed. Oats are used for treating a variety of nervous disorders.  Herbal - Oats benefit several body organs and systems, including: skin, nervous system, stomach, spleen, lungs, and the urinary and reproductive systems. Herbal qualities of oats include:  antispasmodic; cardiac; diuretic; emollient; nervine; stimulant.  Oats contains the antitumor compound b-sitosterol;  acting as a digestive aid to calm the intestinal tract; Used to achieve hormonal balance. It is often recommended as a way of relieving stomach aches. Not only does mint help relieve the pain that you may experience during a stomach ache, but it also can reduce how long you have a stomach ache for. Mint is also known to provide relief to those who experience symptoms that are caused by irritable bowel syndrome. If your dog have been experiencing stomach problems, you may want to consider adding mint to his or her diet.  Mint helps prevent infections in the body.  Although you may not even know it, your body can stay protected from certain types of infections when you opt to include mint in your diet on a regular basis. Mint is known to help slow down how quickly both bacteria and fungus grow in the body. In some cases, mint may even completely help stop bacteria and fungus from growing at all.  Mint May Help Protect Against Cancer ~ While there is a lot of research that still needs to be conducted, it is believed that mint can help keep the body protected from certain types of cancers. As of right now, this research has only been performed on animals. The types of cancer that you may be able to prevent by including mint in your diet on a regular basis include skin, lung and colon - all of which can be fatal if they are not detected early enough.)
